Tax Refund/Global Refund

If you have purchased goods for your own personal use during your travels in Germany and/or other European countries and reside outside of the EU you can have the sales tax, which was included in the purchase price, refunded. You will require a Tax Free Cheque, issued by the store where you made your purchase. Before your departure you must take this Cheque and, together with the receipt, presentation of the goods, your passport and airplane ticket, have it stamped by customs. Please continue onto the Cash Refund Desk at Düsseldorf International with your stamped Cheque.
